Registration Opens for Free Webinars on Understanding Changes to Alberta’s Employment Standards

Changes to Alberta employment standard rules are now in effect as of September 1st. The Government of Alberta passed Bill 2 over the Spring, and changes were made to minimum wage, banked overtime, and general holiday pay, among others. Free online training on employment standards is being offered by Alberta’s Employment Standards team from September 4 – 24. These webinars are intended to help employers understand the changes. Each session will include a live Q&A segment.
