Webinar: Strong Leadership in Times of Crisis: How to Lead in Uncertain Times

Picture of laptop on a wooden table with a phone beside it that is video calling a middle-aged man. There is a woven basket behind the laptop with various items within it.

This crisis, like every other, requires strong leadership. The crisis presents both danger and unrelenting change. Leaders must rise to the challenge of dealing with new operational realities, employee concerns, and their own shifting emotions and concerns. Fear, confusion, and uncertainty abound, leaders who succeed and overcome exhibit four core strengths. They demonstrate:

  • a personal strength of character to instill confidence,

  • an empathetic strength to win the hearts of their people,

  • a guiding strength to lead their teams to action, and

  • a communication strength to encourage and manage their people.

In this webinar, participants learned practical steps to reinforce each of these strengths. The webinar explored:

  • the mindset that allows you to stand confidently before your team,

  • four declarations to share with your team to gain their support,

  • four conversations to have with your team to guide and organize their work, and

  • insights into communicating effectively in the new era of social and technological distance.

Every crisis is an opportunity for change. That change starts with you. This is your time.
